Carbon Monoxide Detector
The Vivint carbon monoxide alarm is built on an electrochemical detector with a five-year sensor life. With these features, it can detect increased levels of carbon monoxide early. And unlike other detectors, it's backed by our touchscreen panel and central monitoring station, giving you 24x7x365 assistance and support.
How will I know when I need to change the batteries?
Vivint CO detectors will not beep when the batteries are low and need to be changed. Low battery alerts will announce themselves automatically on your touchscreen panel.
Why do I need a Carbon Monoxide Detector?
Carbon monoxide is referred to as the “silent killer” because it is tasteless, odorless, colorless, and very dangerous at high levels. A smoke detector is not interchangeable for a CO detector and vice-versa. For more information about CO detectors, make sure to check out this article from The Neighborhood.
