Manage Tamper Alerts

If your tilt sensor (garage door) is sending odd tamper alerts and nothing appears to be wrong with your sensor, this probably means that the tamper switch inside your sensor isn’t functioning properly. Complete the following steps to fix it:

1Go to your touchscreen panel and put your system in Test Mode
2Go to your tilt sensor
3Remove the cover from the sensor
4Locate the spring on the inside
5Check to see if the spring is bent or overly depressed
6If it is not, replace the cover
7If your sensor is still sending false tamper alerts, contact our Customer Care team via chat or email for assistance
8Be sure to exit Test Mode on your touchscreen panel when you’re finished
If the spring in the sensor is depressed or bent, contact Customer Care to request a new sensor be shipped to you.
