Loss of Supervision

If your touchscreen panel can’t find your motion detector for whatever reason, this means it isn’t being monitored. To make sure your motion detector is being monitored, check for all of the following:

Perform a System Test.

If your sensor has a history of low battery life, the battery is probably dead and needs to be replaced.

Make sure that the sensor is within approximately 200 feet of your panel. If a sensor is more than 200 feet from your panel, then it is out of range and additional equipment needs to be installed.

You can also try taking off the cover on your sensor and then putting it back on. Note, if you plan to take the sensor off you will need to put your system in Test Mode first.
