Loss of Supervision
If your touchscreen panel can’t find your tilt sensor for whatever reason, this means it isn’t being monitored. To make sure your tilt sensor is being monitored, check for all of the following:
Perform a System Test
If your tilt sensor has a history of low battery life, the battery is probably dead and needs to be replaced.
Make sure that the tilt sensor is within approximately 200 feet of your panel. If it’s more than 200 feet away, it’s out of range and additional equipment needs to be installed.
You can also try taking off the cover on your tilt sensor and then putting it back on.
