Loss of Supervision
If your touchscreen panel is giving a Loss of Supervision alert for your CO detector, this means it isn’t able to communicate with the device. To make sure your detector is communicating, check the following:
1 Select your panel below for steps on how to perform a System Test:

2If the batteries have already been changed, or are less than a month old, check the distance between the detector and your panel. The CO detector has a range of 200 feet over open air. Any walls, shelves, etc. will reduce the signal range. If distance or structural interference is preventing communication, you may need to move it closer to the panel or have additional equipment installed.
